A devoted and well-mannered dog. Boston Terriers love to play and are very affectionate to their owners. A Terrier adapts well to either country or apartment living. They have a lot of intelligence and charm, but they are known to a bit stubborn and some bark frequently.

Developed in Boston in the late 19th-century; descendent of a combination of breeds, mostly Bulldog, English Terrier, and French Bulldog.
