The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has long been a royal pet, named after the British King Charles II. They are descendents of hunting dogs.


  

Small Breed: Weight: 13-18 lbs. Height at the shoulders: 12-13 in.


Moderate exercise is needed.

Long, fine coats require regular brushing. Average shedders.

Excellent playmates for children.

Get along very well with other animals.

 

Heart murmurs, ear infections, eye conditions, and patella luxation.
